Good morning, Frank. How did you sleep?
Pretty well, actually. I was out in the garden by seven.
The tomatoes again? Yesterday you said the squirrels were winning.
Ha. They still are. But I rigged a little netting this morning, so we will see who laughs last.
I like your odds. Did you take your morning pills yet, or is that next on the list?
Took them with my coffee, all four.
Perfect. How is the knee treating you today? You said the stairs were a bit much on Sunday.
Still a little stiff in the morning, to be honest. Fine once I get moving.
Good to know. If it keeps grumbling, it might be worth mentioning to Dr. Patel next month. Any plans for the day?
Walking to the bakery after lunch. Maybe I will get one of those almond things Karri likes, just to spite her since she is not here.
Cruel and fair. I will let you get to it, Frank. Same time tomorrow?
Same time tomorrow. Tell the squirrels nothing.
